auto-yt is a personal tool operated by one individual to publish videos to YouTube channels that this same individual owns or manages. It uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing auto-yt you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
Only the owner. auto-yt is not offered to the public and does not request access to anyone else's account.
What data it accesses
- The authorized channel's ID, name and basic profile, to confirm which channel a video goes to.
- Videos it uploads and their metadata (title, description, tags, privacy and audience settings).
- The channel's own playlists, so new videos can be added to them.
- YouTube Analytics reports (views, watch time, retention) for the channel's own videos.
How the data is used and stored
- Data is used only to upload, organize and measure the owner's own videos.
- OAuth access tokens are kept in the owner's private secret storage and are never published.
- Statistics are stored in the owner's private project storage to plan future videos.
- No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
How to revoke access
Access can be removed at any time on the Google Account permissions page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all uploads and statistics reads immediately. Stored statistics are deleted within 30 days of a request to the contact address below.
